		Mark Avery Dip.OH & SM (Loughborough)   Dip. ID (NZ)   MRSH (Lond) Dip.Phty (Otago)   NZRP   MNZErg.S   MNZISM (Hon) Managing Director Mark is one of the few persons admitted to the Professional Register of the New Zealand Ergonomics Society (Inc).    He was selected to be the ergonomist on the Department of Health's four-person Scientific Review Panel studying RSI in the early 1980s, with Professor Hugh Burry, Professor Bill Glass and Dr Reinken. In 1984, Mark was the initiator of the micro-pause technique as the No.1 strategy for preventing muscular aches and pains arising from postural working activities.   He is a recognised adviser of the Occupational Overuse Syndrome Prevention programme developed by ACC. He is a qualified industrial designer who designs furniture and appurtenances using the ergonomic perspective when proprietary products are unsuitable for the client's needs.  He is also a recognised Hazardous Substances and New Organisms adviser and is on the register of the Environmental Risk Management Authority (ERMA). Mark became an ACC approved health and safety auditor for the ACC "Workplace Safety Management Practices" programme, and "Partnership Programme" in 2000. His health and safety services are in high demand.
