Consultants was established in 1986 at Wellington,
New Zealand and is an independent health and safety consultancy.
Our services
are above average and are used throughout New Zealand by a wide range
of Government and private concerns - both large and small.
Each client's need has a different perspective and we respond accordingly.
Consultancy
activities

We enjoy
resolving health and safety problems from a client's "too-hard
basket".
Resolution of
on-going injuries is often achieved through inexpensive changes and
training that we recommend in work methods, design of product, use of equipment.
We advise
management on specific aspects of statutory requirements. Then
subsequently through mutual arrangement, and determined by the nature
of our client's needs, we facilitate health and safety compliance in
the client's place of work.
As a direct
result of our services, many of our clients become self-sufficient
and are not "locked-in"
to
any on-going dependence on our consultancy.
Our design
training and skills - the ability to identify key factors and provide
simple solutions to complex problems - are important, unique and
invaluable in our consultancy work.

Standards

We measure
whether statutory duties have been met against all of the
requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, related
Regulations, Standards, and Codes of Practice.
Please note
that in recent years, our work is becoming more involved with "mending
the fences"
where some inadequate service provider had left their clients
avoidably vulnerable.

improve effectiveness of occupational health and injury prevention,
using the knowledge and skills that we make available. We also
seek to effect a positive health and safety culture throughout all
New Zealand workplaces.
Meeting
for the first time

Our initial
meeting with you is free. At this meeting, we will need
to identify your requirements. Then, with your agreement, we
can determine the best process to deliver to your requirements within
the realistic time period specified.
We will not
identify our clients, but if you click on to the clients button -
that will give you a window of client groups that we have assisted in
all parts of New Zealand since 1986.
